Abstract

The article discusses the solar photovoltaic (SPV) water pumping system as an effective technology for providing clean drinking water in rural Sudan, where abundant solar energy and groundwater sources are available. It aims to explain the workings of solar water pumping systems and promote the use of renewable energy in the community. The study reviews the advantages of solar energy for water pumping, emphasizes its potential to improve living conditions, and advocates for investment and implementation of these systems in rural areas. The findings suggest that solar-powered water pumping is a feasible solution for addressing water supply challenges and encourage the adoption of renewable energy to enhance the quality of life in these communities.
