الملخص

Abstract

This study investigates hydraulic system failures in machinery used in local gold mining operations. Through field assessments and case studies, the research identifies contamination, temperature fluctuations, and poor maintenance practices as primary causes of hydraulic failures in excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and dump trucks. The study highlights the economic and operational impacts of these failures, including increased downtime and maintenance costs. Recommendations include improved filtration systems, regular preventive maintenance, and operator training to mitigate risks. The findings contribute to optimizing hydraulic system reliability in harsh mining environments.
