Abstract

The study examined the role of management information systems in achieving competitive 
advantage and the problem of the study lies. In the rapid changes and changes taking place in 
the environment in which the bank operates, the complexity of procedures, as well as intense 
competition and continuous improvement in providing services with the required quality.
The study concluded several results, including: The bank has an administrative information 
system that reduces costs through planning processes. The database system applied to the bank 
provides reliable data and information.
The study came out with a number of recommendations the most important of which are the 
banks senior management should use the latest software to help reduce the cost of assets
