Abstract

The feminist novel constitutes a turning point in the culture of Arab societies, 
which often view women as inferior and more like an awrah that must be covered, 
as well as a weak and helpless being in the face of patriarchal authority. However, 
in the sixties of the last century, women emerged as a voice expressing women's 
concerns, defending their freedom, dignity and right to live in peace. The feminist 
narrative confirms that it is not isolated from reality and that women are no longer 
that subjugated being.
